Quien dijo que los 80s apestaban???

Son mejores que los 90s, y obviamente mucho mejores que los 2000s.

No encuentro a alguien en estos ultimos decenios que iguale en creatividad a un Joy Division, a un Bauhaus, a The Smiths, o The Cure, o Depeche Mode, o Gary Numan, o Ministry, o DEVO, ni siquiera a Sex Pistols, The Clash o Dead Kennedys.

Los 90s son un reciclaje del los 60s y 70s. Basta escuchar a Nirvana (John Lennon en su etapa Primal Scream), Alice in Chains (Led Zeppelin), Primus (Rush), Beck (TODO 60s y 70s) o Type O Negative (Black Sabbath).

Actualmente, no he escuchado nada que me llame la atencion.

Actualmente está en primer lugar Coldplay, luego, The Offspring, Green Day y Blink 182 entre otras, al menos para mi gusto, cualquiera superior a Depeche Mode, que por cierto me parece aburridísimo. Las otras bandas ochenteras que mencionas, nomás ni las conozco. Creo que también mucha de la música de este milenio que vale la pena es instrumental o new age y hasta electrónica. Moby es un excelente ejemplo de ello.

Coldplay me suena a grunge light de los 2000s

Offspring, Green Day y Blink 182 me recuerdan a The Clash, pero muchisimo mas light y absolutamente despojados de politica - excelente para MTV.

En cuanto a Depeche Mode, su material de los 80s es netamente SUPERIOR a su material de los 90s... C'mon, ya estan viejos para el show!!!

Tengo la leve impresion que desde mediados de los 90s, hay una clara decadencia artistica en el mundo de la musica. Decadencia que en el mundo del cine empezo 10 años antes (y mejor NI HABLAR de las artes plasticas y la literatura...)

Todo huele a estancamiento.

Sin duda la música comercial ha bajado de nivel y ya no puede compararse en absoluto con otras décadas, pero buscando mucho se encuentra buen material en cantidades aceptables. Eso sí, casi todo los nuevo que me gusta lleva electrónica por un tubo.

Por desgracia hace ya mucho tiempo que la gran industria no arriesga en absoluto, es culpa de ella, no de los músicos el relativo aburrimiento. La época en que grupos como The Beatles o The Clash eran grupos conocidos ya pasó.

La última andanada parece que vino con cosas como Nirvana o Chemical Brothers, que aún mantenían el listón.

En los 90 escuchaba metal underground :1fr: , hubo una escena con una calidad altísima, pero que funcionaba en tiradas muy pequeñas en sellos minúsculos. Eso sí, comercialidad cero. Hoy por hoy aquello ha degenerado en una especie de gótico barato y carente de originalidad.

Coldplay.- grupo light con algunas canciones buenas pero para pasar un rato.

Offspring.- no los he oido.

Green Day y Blink 182.- los primeros estan para :045r7: , se creen rokeros y el pin... vocalista canta como niño. De los segundos me gusta una canción pero en general me parecen un grupo de patinetos.

Como dice Szombor son light y despojados de politica - excelente para MTV.

Tengo la leve impresion que desde mediados de los 90s, hay una clara decadencia artistica en el mundo de la musica. Decadencia que en el mundo del cine empezo 10 años antes (y mejor NI HABLAR de las artes plasticas y la literatura...)
Yo no creo tanto en una decadencia como en un periodo de transición donde se empiezan a agotar los ritmos; sin embargo, hay excelentes exponentes, otro que se me olvidaba son los Red Hot Chilli Peppers, cuya canción Parallel Universe esta en mi top 5 de ese año, ahora, sobre el New Age, para mi simplemente es genial y lo mas original de los últimos años, Moby en especial me parece de lo mejor de la década, y hay mil sonidos diferentes tipo Enya, Enigma o Kitaro de entre los mas conocidos, aunque mucho de lo mejor viene de desconocidos internacionales. La música electrónica tampoco debe olvidarse, ni los Chemical Brothers, ni los cientos de DJ's con sus propuestas psicodélicas.

Sobre el cine, me parece que ha habido excelentes películas artísticas en los últimos 20 años, de hecho, bastantes producciones muy variadas y valiosas en muchos aspectos y a nivel internacional, y si bien antes de 1985 hubo muy buenas películas, ahora no deja de haberlas y no solo hablando de las comerciales, sino de las meramente artísticas. Podríamos poner muchos ejemplos, pero no creo que sea el caso.

En algunos de mis paseos, he visitado Santa Mónica en diferentes tiempos del año y del día...

En invierno, como dice la canción...pienso que era de noche, lo que narra ...y además ya han cambiado algunas cosas...
En la calle Promenade(cerrada al tráfico ,solo peatones), hay por las tardes -noches muchos y diferentes personas haciendo su "show", encuentras de todas las razas y de tantas cosas como tu imaginación...cantantes, contorsionistas, malabaristas chinos, japoneses ,rusos, gringos , negros etc.es todo un espectáculo.
ya imagino donde fué por el café...a mi me gustaron mas Los pretzels...
ir al malecón, a pescar de noche...
a ver y disfrutar la rueda gigante y oir el carrousel con su Calipso a todo volumen...
Las primeras veces que fuí, recuerdo una tarde, que estaba un grupo ruso, de 5 personas, todos musicos versátiles...interpretando en varios idiomas, y música de todo el mundo, usando diferentes instrumentos y cambiandolos..en ruedita alrededor de ellos...solo había otra pareja latina, todos los demas, gringos, negros, asiaticos Indúes y pakistaníes(los que me acuerdo)...y con cual cerraron su concierto?...

Este bellísimo canto marcial, provocador y estimulante, fue por mucho tiempo el himno casi oficial del Partido Comunista Italiano (PCI).

No se sabe con exactitud cuando fue escrita su letra pero al parecer data de la primera década del siglo XX. Existen múltiples versiones con ligeras variantes; la que aquí entrego a la enorme comunidad socialista de La Trinchera es la más difundida.

Pero más allá del espíritu revolucionario que nos inspira su letra incendiaria y sediciosa, que sé que es ampliamente compartido por todos los atrincherados, merece mención aparte su bellísima melodía compuesta mucho tiempo atrás.

Probablemente proviene de la fusión de antiguos cánticos lombardos del siglo XVIII; aunque algunos investigadores dicen haber rastreado sus orígenes hasta más allá de la época medieval. Como quiera que sea, musicalmente “Bandiera Rossa” nos seduce con su muy afortunada amalgama de antiquísimas melodías populares que se pierden en el tiempo.

Y por cierto: en una escena de “El Padrino I”, cuando Michael Corleone se refugia en Sicilia, se escucha muy fugazmente este memorable canto que hoy tengo el enorme placer de compartir con todos ustedes, camaradas socialistas atrincherados.

No soy de lqo eu siempre quieren ver a lso originales en una banda pues muchas veces ese prejuicio no deja apreciar que generacione sposteriores si bien no mejore sni peores si son diferentes y aportan mucho, (para mi el caso mas notable era KISS, mejor musica y ejeccución epr menos payasada en lso 80's y 90's) pero la genet prefirio a lso mascaritas decrpeitos de Criiz y Frehley dejando de lado a Singer y Kulck.

CUando el rock lo dejas de hacer show y ante pone sla musica te abres a muchas cosas y te lo dice alguien que vivio con el prejuico del stardom por 15 años, me considero rockero desde los 8 años...

COn Helloween siempre esta el debate pero a mi me encanta todo como muestra de la apoca, en definitiva Weiki tiene un caracter duro pero no está mal, Hansen, etsa bien se le puede encontrar en Gamma Ray otra extraordinaria banda...

Kiske reniega del rock y sin embargo la gente le alaba que absurdo... Par ami Andy en otro estilo pero es ley... Gusto sy gustos pero Helloween como idea o concpeto etsán por sobre el nivel.

Sascha Gerstner parece que tiene buena sinergia con Weiki y danny Löbbe toca como una bestia... Markus, ni que decir uno de lso mejores y más poderosos bajistas.

Mmmm, es díficil hacer una elección. Prácticamente todos los discos me gustan; ya forzándome me iría por 'Keeper II', seguido de cerca por 'The Time of the Oath'. Con las rolas es lo mismo, pero mi favorita está seguro entre 'Power', 'Dr Stein', 'Eagle Fly Free', 'You'll always walk alone' o 'Sole Survivor'.

¿Has escuchado los discos de Andi Deris como solista? Es un concepto más cadencioso, pero ampliamente recomendable. Tuve la suerte de econtrarlos en una tienda de discos usados en Tokio y me salieron en algo así como 30 pesos cada uno. :aaa15:

El nuevo disco de Helloween está programado para el último día de Octubre. Estoy ansioso.

Yo ya escuche tres rolas del nuevo... Mrs God muy en la vena de Dr. Stein o Mr. Torture... The King for a 1000 years de esas rolas que toma tiempo desentrañarlas pero cuando lo haces y conectas quedas en estado extático, inlcuso hay quienes la citan más compleja y más artística que la de Keepers of the Seven Keys, yo no lo sé, no me gusta comparar pero si se que es compleja y después de unas 10 veces le encuentras conectas y quedas a tope... la de My Life for One more day es muy poderosa... pero solo tengo un fragmento


Incluso a gente anti deris y anti nuevo Helloween el nuevo disco les esta haciendo sufrir el oido con ansias de escucharlo segun he leido.

Deris me late solista pero no he escuchado mucho, si acaso del Done by Mirrors.

Por cierto muchso de lso europeoa mas bien son como cantos de caballería, de guerras medievales, muy emocionante e impactante para quienes evocamso esos escenarios de la guerra y la gesta heróica.

Bueno cuando salga el tema de cosas mas ambient, electronicas o llamadas New Age les hago otras sugerencias.

Una de las canciones que me gustó mucho desde que la escuché por primera vez (creo que en 1980) es Lady Starlight de Scorpions, tanto la ejecución instrumental como la forma en que la interpretaba Klaus Meine me cautivó desde el principio.

Lo malo de esos cantos de caballería es que en ocasiones resultan muy repetitivos. El caso de Rhapsody de viene a la mente; me gustaron algunas rolas, compré un par de discos y me encontré que todas son básicamente lo mismo.

Bueno al menos en mi caso hay tres cosas que aprecio mucho en la música: calidad musical, inovación y originalidad.

Y ciertamente, Fey (y sobre todo con esa canción) no tiene ninguna de las tres :aaa5:.

Hay grupos como Belanova (que en cierto modo son mi "Guilty pleasure", por cursis :lol: ) que tienen esas características, y también se podría decir que son "pop electrónico".

En la música no me interesa la innovación ni la originalidad; me interesa la melodía, los sonidos... esa canción de Fey es bastante melódica y la melodía es muy tranquila y bonita y los sonidos están cuando y donde deben estar, con eso me basta.
